V6 Parts

Has anyone heard or seen of any performance parts for the V6 yet (intake, exhaust, coil-overs, etc)?

I'm gonna keep posting this in hope some company will finally pay notice and get off the pot with the V6 parts development!

I mean, people who bought the V6 bought it for performance, it WOULD be safe to assume we would like some performance enhancing goodies!

And a supercharger would be nice!

Yup! I'm in the same boat. 4K on mine and I'm just itching to do something. Cant even really do rims or anything proper since no coilovers/springs are out yet.

But I guess we cant complain TOO much since we did get all the extra HP :P

I think my next mod is going to be de-badging the car. I like how all the Acura guys are like 'Dood...V6...NICE', but it's a lot of fun when another TSX wants to race and he didn't see the V6 badge...

oops!

I just hope we don't take it in the shorts since the V6 was only released in the US.

and now back to waiting...and dreaming of a CT Supercharger for the V6.

Hey, I'm visiting from TL land, but isn't the 3.5L V6 in the TSX the same as the TL-S? I'm sure you guys can do some things like a crank pulley, intake, TB spacer, thermal gaskets, etc from the 07-08 TL-S. Maybe even the pre-cat deletes, but don't quote me on that...

Takeda (AFE) makes a short ram intake for the 09-10 3.5 V6 Accord and TL and it shares the same part number of TR-1007B. It may also fit the V6 TSX with slight modifiactions. The all black is on sale. I just picked one up for my V6 Accord.

I've owned several V6 cars and that was always my first gripe. Where are the aftermarket parts?! That's why I bought a four cyl this time. I will probably own a 2015 TL-SH/AWD before a good rock-solid exhaust is released for the '10 V6 TSX.

So whenever ya'll do go pulling up to a regular four cyl '09-10 TSX to try to make 'em look like an ass, remember one thing, at least we four bangers have options. Oh, and for crying out loud! Stop racing your own kind! So rude.

I really like the V6 tsx is way it is, the handling could improve with coilovers, maybe eighteens custom exhaust, stock is too quiet. and cia. my moded 02 tl 3.2 could give it a run for its money. ITS SUSPENTION IS MORE COMFORTABLE THAN THE TIEN ON THE TL over potholes and bumps but on turns at the limit, the vsa helps but doesn't provide much confidence. having enough grunt to spin the mxv4 michellin tires at 30mph is kinda nice, the tranny is not setup for racing, found that out yesterday... tryina figure out the correct speed for a roll is tricky, the top of 3rd seemed to take an advantage rather than the top of 2nd

I'm pretty sure 8th gen Accord suspension, exhaust and engine mods all fit on the V6 TSX since they share the same exact chassis.

I would imagine slight spring weight and damper tweeks compared to the Accord .
OEM have so many combo's on springs and shocks (just about each model trim on Accord uses different spring/shock part# ) .

How does 09 TSX ride compare to say Accord V6 6MT coupe or even a EX sedan , are they firmer ?

Not sure if everyone has found this yet, but FINALLY some movement on the CU4 after market parts!!

The Tein coilovers are already out, but after speaking with DC Sports the intake + exhaust won't hit the streets for at least a couple months.

10hp and 7ft-lb gain on the cai, not too shabby. i'm going to wait for pricing to see if it'll be worth it though.

Yeah, well see what happens with the price. I have been pushing on some of the other companies saying that DC Sports is coming out with stuff and they have cornered the market. Hopefully someone will listen and start trying to compete.

And so ensues the waiting game

They arent far off. We have guys with TSX springs that have run them for 100K and guys that have the Accord Sedan V6, same general weight and size as the TSX with Accord Coupe springs and shocks running fine. I would think they would be the same. I'm pretty sure the Jpipes/PCDs for the Accord v6 will fit the V6 TSX too.
