Been a while since I posted here. I have been lurking and watching everybody's build while I tried to figure out which way to go my damn self. All started with NA modding, added Bigger TB, ice box intake, bigger manifold, runners etc etc.
Then bought a Comptech Supercharger that's been sitting there for a bit now since i've had NO TIME to install!. BUT then i came around this opportunity a lil while ago and decided to just go the Turbo route since that's what i really wanted to do anyways! I bought me a 6665 Hurracaine Ashley from Turbonetics. Then started buying all supporting crap for the build and there goes my savings (sighs)

Going today afterwork to have somebody make me a Manifold and I'll keep ya updated!

sorry been putting in work with the welder and on the side motor I'm trying to build for next year. Kinda forgot I made this thread. Car is currently at my fab guy's shop for final touches, supposed
to get it by the end of next week. But the tuning appointment is not until the 12th **Sigh** I hate waiting lol.

im interested in boosting my J32.
on the TL side, we've been having trouble with heat.
hopefully, you can compensate with your tuning!

 

stock ecu... tuning with Ktuner, If shit gets bad i got an AEM V2, i don't wanna use it unless it's completely necessary tho,
otherwise i won't pass inspection.

yea Tuner told me about this lil heat issues, so until built motor goes in
I'll try and keep her on low boost, shooting for 450whp

meanwhile started ordering parts for the new set of heads J37 and trying to make these calipers fit the bolt is 2 mm outs lol FUN TIMES!

 

What are those calipers off of?

 

building is the easy part.
tuning and keeping it from blowing up is the hard part.

LOL dude i'm scared of putting her on the dyno! but i got a spare engine and tranny ready in case shit goes south =\ better on the dyno then me doing
a pull somewhere

 

^most of the turbo'd TL'ers dont bother with built engines. they do have spare engines tho. (cuz the built engine can still blow up with a bad tune) so the theory is...it's easier and cheaper to have spare stock engines, than it is to build an engine

if the tune is spot on, you'll be good!!!

I would turbo and build myself and have some one tune it. Dyno tune
but probably later. when the car becomes a project car.
