I used the devils own stage one kit it turns on at 4PSI

Universal Stage 1 Diesel : 4 cylinder water Injection Kit : DevilsOwn Injection

My son has a Aquamist stage 3 it is superior to mine but spendy

Aquamist HFS-3 Injection System | Howerton Engineering

My system just turns on at 4 psi with #7 injection nozzle not progressive
My sons is hooked up to injector pulse signal and it uses a solenoid to progressively add meth water at ~20% mixture to fuel it's very adjustable in ramping up the injection rate
I have the aquamist kit HF2 on my N/A and I do tune it to the max :P. I was the one that recommended the aquamist one to him best investment ever

What was the STi running? You can really see how shifting in a manual can make or break you. I bet he wasn't expecting:
1. sooo much whp in the TSX
2. Racing an automatic

So did it have forged internals this time or was he still running stock pistons and rods?

Hey I didn't blow it up just melted a piston a tiny bit, with my kids help it's out and will be up and running in a couple of weeks, changing a few things JE pistons instead of Wiesco and I'm getting rid of the balance shaft oil pump and adapting a k20a2 RSX type-s pump.

All of the bearings were perfect head is ok, but I have a 2014 k24z7 with 2,000 miles on it so I'm going to start fresh with it and use the tsx cams and my supertech valves and springs in the new head, reuse the h beam piston rods with new JE pistons, and get rid of the balance shaft oil pump.

Seeing the sidewalls like that why aren't you boring and getting some heavy duty sleeves to handle the heat?

Even a sleeved block won't do and good for melting pistons, Vit looked it over and thinks that cylinder isn't getting enough water meth mix and that's what killed it so I'm going to do a direct port injection so it will be even to each cylinder

Damn, it would be really nice to see individual cylinder temps! This direct port injection is gunna be super sick! I can't wait to see it in action!

You should do a water to air intercooler.... how awesome would that be?!

With our head that will never happen, can't drill into each port because of the coolant passages

Not a big fan of water-air if there is room for a big intercooler like our cars

Ahhhh so sick. Did you fabricate yourself?

Also, what is the black tube for after your throttle body? Is that connected to your exit hose on your oil catch can?

Anddd you should have done clear lines, it would have been cool!

Yes I made the bracket to hold the manifold and tapped the ports myself
I had some clear line and it reminded me of hooking up my dishwasher LOL
the black Hose goes to my blow off valve I've been wanting to get a nice looking braded hose with AN fittins but the banjo fitting that goes on the Tial blow off valve is 35 bucks so about 70 bucks for just that someday I will do it

I'm so jealous man! I wonder if anyone has done direct port injection on the cte sc manifold before. It would be a sweet setup too.. But I guess everyone just runs e85 instead.

I always wondered how our stock torque converters could hold up to boost.... so you just recommend swapping fluid and going for it? how many lbs you pushing?

(im auto as well)

that's awesome UTAH....I wondered how many lbs of boost/hp/tq our torque converters could support...cause all the guys who are boosted with 6sp's always upgrade the clutch... and well.... we don't have one... lol my tsx is actually the first auto I've owned... I daily drove my CRX from back in the summer before my senior year of high school (2006) so yeah I've had it for 10 years... gone from a B16A with a Jackson Racing Supercharger (iron roller skate death trap) to a GSR in it now.

The end of a saga, the legacy will live on

I read this entire thread today. Watched every video. Followed links. All to my amazement, then he goes and does a TL-S, experiences 2 burn ups, and I'm simply floored. Started in 2013 if I remember correctly, and the last post was last month. All of this journey summed up in one word. "No"

I...I just...I can't even. Fine work and diligent too. It's someone else's turn now.

And I'm crying over a love/hate relationship with my '12 TSX SE because of all that I've seen today. https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/thud.gif
