Shift knob

I've been looking around for market for a new shift knob for my 6 speed tsx. What's the size of our shift knobs? 10 by 1.25 or 10 by 1.5? And how can I unscrew my current one? Sorry for the questions lol I'm trying to not make any more threads

I think it's 1.5. I got the skunk2 knob for the extra weight. To unscrew you just unscrew it counterclockwise... GL

I have the countersunk maven shiftknob, extra weight is nice with the short throw adapter.

Wish it had the 6 pattern on it, but the gun metal looks good.

I swapped my TSX knob for the TL knob. I found it online for about $30 shipped. I think it was under change lever knob. For me the TSX knob was too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Getting the knob off is easy. You need to squeeze the top plastic part of the leather boot and pull it down. This exposes a locking nut. You'll need a wrench to unlock the nut and then the knob twists off easily. I actually found the TL knob was a little harder to put on. I assume this is because the core is plastic compared to the stock knob being metal. I'll try to snap a pick today. I did not change anything else. If you search around I think some guys also replaced the black metal collar. I did not do that but I still think it looks like it belongs. The TL knob is a little bigger but lighter because its not metal. I had to saw off two plastic clips protruding from the end if the knob for it to fit properly. All easy stuff.
