I cannot receive phone calls when my s4 is connected to my tsx with tech package blue tooth. I have the 2014. I mean the phone wont even ring. When I go to the store my wife says she tried to call me but I don't receive them. I have tried to call her as well but she can't receive them from me when she's connected. Also I can't access my music when connecting it through usb. Am i doing something wrong or is the s4 not compatible?

 

My S4 works fine. Though I have rooted and modded all of the software that controls the phone so it's not really a "true" S4 anymore. Mine has always had bad call quality over bluetooth but I think that is from the car. Currently it rings through the car speakers and I answer it on the actual phone.

 

How much performance did you gain, and what modifications did you have to make in order for your bt to work?

 

My bluetooth always worked on my S4 no matter what version of android I was using. I'm not sure how to quantify how much performance I gained, if any. I'm currently on android 4.4.4. If the OP upgraded to 5.0 (not sure what phones get pushed what version these days) then that could be the problem.

 

This should be in problems and fixes or audio, not performance modification.

What have we gotten to when performance forums for enthusiast cars are being asked about bluetooth??

 

Tell me about it. I learned what stoptech brake lines fit our cars in someone's photo gallery thread and not any performance threads that should tell you something.

 

This isn't so bad, as there may be guys with unique mods just wanting to start a build thread and sharing what they've done, but they've never bothered to create a thread in the appropriate subforum.
