Replacing OEM yellow head light bulb

I am thinking of changing the OEM yellow head light bulb on my TSX 09 (Light 9005)

I am only comfortable with just changing the bulb (Don't want to get involved in adding any kits)

Should I just buy a white head lamp bulb or Can i go with a HID bulb.

Also can anyone please recommended a website where I can buy them from.

Thanks a ton

the 9005 is the highbeam/drl

This is a halogen bulb, and if you want to replace it - just replace it with another halogen bulb, this is the easiest option.

stern's site does explain all about color temparature,

but the reality is, you will have a hard time installing an hid kit for your high beams in these cars - unless you disable the drl

also, if you change your high beam to a drl you can't use them to "flash" people

since turning on and off your hid bulbs rapidly shorten their life span.
