Replacing Halogen Headlights with HID

Hi all,

New to the forum and also new to the TSX world. Just got a 2012 TSX and in a few weeks, want to replace the Halogen headlights with HID. I've seen multiple websites with the Kits to purchase, but maybe others with experience can lend a hand in guiding me to a site where I can buy the RIGHT one. Also, is there instructions on how to do this install? Have checked websites/youtube/etc. looking for how to install. Just need some sort of reference.

Any help is appreciated.

Matt

Install is pretty straight forward, I can probably label a picture for you of what goes where if you want.

From experience install is easy but you will have return wire shadow.

You need to slightly file the housing to fit hod bulb properly.

I will be attempting this over weekend and try and fit my Philips kit.

great kit but stay away from the Morimoto bulbs...at least over 4300K...my 5000K bulbs were horrible....looked like 6K and not very bright.

My Morimoto bulbs look fine. I bought them 10 months ago, but recently one started flickering a couple times on startup. Only did it for a few days though.

I noticed that the 5000k looked like 6000k too. When looking at them they look white, but behind the wheel and on the road, they have a slight bluish tint to them.

I got a Philips genuine kit pretty good.
Philips Australia sells these I'd anyone thinks I got ripped off by fakes, serial numbers confirmed as well by Philips Australia.

They much better than you average eBay type globes
