Parking brake failure

So, got home from travel, go to put in my car in gear, put down the brake handle, and there is no resistance. That's bad.

So, drive home, car wants to crawl to a stop, because the driver rear wheel is locked up.

Call Utah, he has seen this problem.

Take it to the dealer, they way that the SPC rear control arms are the cause for the failure, because of the mounting point there is some binding going on.

The arms have been on for 4.5 years, but I guess has just degraded over time.

So, $550 later, I have a working car again.

The reason I am throwing this out there, is something to be aware of for anyone running the SPC rear camber arms where the parking brake cable is connected to.

I have been thinking about having a piece of metal crafted by someone to help "straighten" the cable out so that the extreme kink is not present any longer.

I remember seeing the different when the camber arms were put on, but did not think anything of it.

I know this is useless without a picture, but if you have the SPC rear camber arms, you know what I am talking about, if you don't, do not worry about it.
