lip kit that fits
lip kit that fits
Starting on my 2011 tsx. I need to know good places online to purchase a lip kit and front grill for my car. Ive read things about parts not fitting right and having to shape them yourself. Please help me
2011+ TSX are the facelifted. New front bumper, new front grille, different fog lights, rear taillights' corners are pink, trunk chrome bar. Might be something else as well. AFAIK, those are the main differences.
Side skirts you can get Aero/Sport/Modulo side skirts (all the same thing, just different names for different markets), or SE side skirts if you can find them. I don't know if the dealership will sell them to you or not, and even so, they're likely not painted.
There is no rear lip, but there's a rear Aero/Sport/Modulo bumper.
If you want a front "lip", you can get the SE lip. It's a two piece, subtle change. Google Acura TSX SE to see what that looks like. If you don't want that, you could get the Aero/Sport/Modulo front bumper. BUT, this requires a 2009-2010 TSX grille (it's different from the 2011+ grille); the 2011+ grille will NOT fit this bumper. You could also get the JDM Modulo H grille, or the 2008-2010 Accord Euro Type S grille (3 chrome bars). All of these will fit the Aero/Sport/Modulo front bumper, but just NOT the 2011+ TSX grille. You'll also need 09-10 TSX fog lights if you get the modulo front. It's a bit of a hassle, but it's a nice bumper.
If you stick with the 2011+ TSX front bumper, you can swap your grille with a 2011+ Accord Euro Type S grille. Similar to the 08-10 Type S grille, but smaller, 2 chrome bars.
Everything listed above is OEM.
You could go Mugen.. but it's expensive as fuck. eBay stuff you'll need to mold to make it look half-decent, and the quality is shit.
Good luck

OEM parts you can buy from the Acura dealership (except for the Honda Accord Euro grilles; these are available at European Honda dealerships). Some parts come painted, some don't. As far as I know, the Modulo pieces all come painted. Base bumpers, SE side skirts (if you can find a dealership with them) likely do NOT come painted, even from the dealership. You may ask the dealership to get them painted for you. But, the dealership will outsource the paint work to the shop they use for collision repairs and whatnot. But the colour may not be 100% matched with the rest of your car. What I'm trying to say is, base bumpers and SE side skirts (and maybe some other items) may not come painted from the factory.
Why not trust prepainted stuff? If it's OEM, have Honda stampings and part numbers on them, and the paint matches yours, why not buy it?
I've found Curry Acura and Delray Acura usually have the best prices. Give them a call and see how much items cost, whether they come in your colour or not, etc.

Ty xtcnrice i just came across curry acura and was gonna ask if they make good parts. I thjink i will try them out by getting a pre painted spoiler. Any thoughts of what spoiler looks best on a graphite 2011?
There are only two OEM trunk spoilers for our cars. The decklid spoiler and the wing spoiler. Decklid is more popular on this board, as it has a cleaner look to most people. But the wing isn't exactly bad looking either. I've opted to put neither on my car, as I think it looks best without either. But that's a matter of opinion
Curry Acura and Delray Acura are reputable dealerships. I'm a Canadian and even I have dealt with Curry Acura for some OEM parts before.
