wellll

so I got the fronts installed no problems but the rears were the wrong size?

could anyone get me the stock dimensions for the OEM rotor? I'd really appreciate it.

The rotors they sent me are probably for an 04-08 TSX for the rear I have the dimensions for the new rotors they want to send me but I dont know how to measure etc im not a mechanic.

The dimensions for the rear rotor they want to send me are as follows

OUTER DIA: 281.6 mm
Height: 48.8 mm
Nom Thick: 9.00 mm
Min Thick: 8.00 mm
Hub Reg: 64.1 mm
Bolt Size 12.6 mm
Bolt Circle: 5 x 114.1 mm
Weight: 8.80 Lbs

i mean the stock should be the same right because these rotors work with the OEM calipers?

That seems right specs for rear rotor .
This site is nice as has spec dimensions

http://www.theautopartsshop.com/sear...s&anoFollow=no

PS 09 TSX shares same rotor as 08+ Accords EX too .

Hey, did your OZ wheels require spacers? Or is the hub 64.1mm? I am considering OZ wheels and Ronjons. I really like the Ronjons, but the OZ are a lot lighter, just don't want to have to use spacers though.

The hardest part will probably remove the 2 Philips screws , to remove rotor. The pads and caliper bracket are only 2 bolts as posted above .

right front is 11.8" and back's are 11.1 " . That goes for TSX and Accord's , so 300mm on front and 282mm approx on rear's .

You can check Acura TSX spec's on there site .

It would be nice if someone could post a step-by-step pictorial of replacing the rotors. I've done it on other cars before, but I guess I'm a little leary of doing it on my TSX. I would like to though and seeing it done first should help seal the deal. I would rather not pay the extra $200 to have someone else do it.

Sorry, let me re-phrase my question, LOL. Did you have to use hub rings for your wheels, since I'm guessing the hub diameter on the wheel is larger than 64.1mm?

It's super easy. I'd be more than happy to lend a hand of you'd like since I live not far from you. Just drop me a PM or something some time.

I'll do it for a case of beer.

Thanks for the offer. I'll take you up on that. It might be a little while before I do it (way too much going on right now). What kind of beer you like?

I normally drink Michelob Ultra when at home, however I like many other beers. Just make sure it's bottles and not cans...for some reason I hate drinking out of beer cans and avoid it if pissible.

No problem. I feel the same way, no cans for me. I only drink bottled beer (usually Sam Adams or Leinenkugels (sp?)).

So we have bigger rotors in Euro Accord then in US TSX, 300 and 285 we have in 2.0L engine version, I dont think its avaiable in US. I have 2.4L and 320 / 305 on mine. Im curious what size is in TSX V6.

Brakes are same size on the V6 model according to Acura.com, even though it weighs 200 LB or so more than the 4-cylinder.

You should all just upgrade to a big brake kit.

Thats a loaded question , it depends on how the vehicle will be used . IMO for normal street use first try some 3rd party pads if your issue is stocks fade quick .
That should help a lot as Honda/Acura have been reformulating revisions with these platform .

I didn't have to put any kind of spacer or anything for the wheels, I can go from stock to black wheels with nothing. The braking does feel a little better...a big brake kit is what lke 3,000? thats alotta dough and this car will never be on a track..unless someone knows a good one near NY lol...

patcracks, I like your setup.

Regarding BBK, if you want Brembo then it is around $3K, but DerwoodEE's Rotora kit is about half the price ~ $1600-$1800. Still a lot of dough which is why I will probably do the same (drilled/slotted rotors and some EBC green pads) in the near future as I have over 33K miles or 52K km on my car now.

For those of you that wants BBK @ a cheaper price.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Big-B...item5886756f9c
this particular set fits 04-07 tsx, since the front brakes are the same, i'm pretty positive these will fit our car also.
