Fog Lights - Matching stock headlights

Fog Lights - Matching stock headlights
I have a 2012 TSX SE.
Brand new to the forum and any kind of car mods.
The stock head lights are a white LED bulb. I am honestly not sure if its considered an HID or an LED or Halogen or what.
I'd like to replace just the stock fog light bulbs to better match this "white LED" style bulb.
Any help on what type of bulbs I currently have, what kind I need to match my head lights, and where to buy them is greatly appreciated.
Im also open to replacing both the headlight bulbs and fog light bulbs if necessary.
Thanks

I thought I'd try to be proactive while waiting for a response.
I found these online, I think this is the right size for my 2012 fogs.
Am I headed in the right direction? Also, is the 5WCree better to go with than the 18x5050?
Thanks

you should get 6KHID for your fog lights H11 bulb
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W
and for your headlights match it with a 6k D2S bulb you don't need the entire kit for the headlights because they're already considered factory HID

^ Why downgrade to 6000k when he could just get a 4300k kit for the fogs?
Or a 5000k kit and a pair of 5000k bulbs for a closer match? Either way they're still going to be slightly off due to the different ballasts.

From the scales ive seen id prefer 5000k as its more white and less blue.
When you say a 5000 "kit" for my fogs does that mean id have to replace the lights and bulbs. Id really just like to switch out the bulbs.
Thanks for the help guys.

Kit as in the HID kit(HID Bulb, Ballasts, Harness). Since NYCROBTSX also mentioned about swapping out your low beams as well, what I meant in my post was a kit for the fogs and a pair of bulbs for your lowbeams, both 5000k.

Here is what my manual says I currently have:
High beam: 60W HB3
Low beam: 55W (H1 for halogen bulb type)
35W (D2S for high voltage discharge type)
Fog Lights: 55W (Halogen???)
Few questions:
Am I okay to replace the low beams myself? Manual says something about the high voltage discharge being dangerous and to have dealer do it.
Which bulb is the one that is always on , even during the daytime without me turning it on, seems to be a yellowish standard stock color.?

What you have stock is...
Highbeam/DRL - 9005/HB3
Lowbeam - 35W D2S 4300k HID
Foglight - H11
-Yes, you can change out the lowbeam bulbs yourself. Just don't do anything stupid and you should be fine. It's all pretty much common sense. Unplug connector(s), swap out bulb, reconnect connector(s). But it will require you to remove your bumper and headlights for easy access of the bulbs. You could just remove the bumper, but I find it a lot easier to just remove the headlight as well.
- The bulbs that's on is called the DRL(Daytime Running Lights). This is also your highbeam. It runs on a lower voltage when it's acting as your DRL. They turn off when you turn on your lowbeams.

Thanks for the info.
I looked at the HID kits for my fog lights and I'm a bit weary of trying to install them myself, I can build computers but have no experience with cars
Is there an H11 bulb that will have a more White color too it, similar to an HID. This is the one I found on DDMTuning?
http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/H11-LED
Also, In order to get my high beams to have the White / Blueish is there a bulb for those? They are not technically HID correct, only my low beams are.
Thanks sorry for all the questions.

Installing a HID kit is really simple. Pretty similar to building computers lol. The connectors only go in one way. I'd say it's one of the easiest mods to do
LED bulbs will give you the white look, but aren't that good in terms of output. Also dpending on what color you get, white LED's would look like 5000k and be whiter than the stock lowbeams.
Technically you could put a HID kit in there as well but I wouldn't recommend doing that for many reason lol. There's a thread on that if you want to read up on it for fun XD. There's really no way to get a white light in there without sacrificing the use of your Highbeams. The options you have are those blue tinted bulbs which will be less yellow and give the reflector housing a blue look to it when the DRL's are off. Highbeams are still functional. The other option you have is to put a LED bulb in there. It will give it a white light when the DRL's are on, but just as if they would be used in the fogs, the light output when you need your highbeams would drop significantly. They will still work, but it would end up being kinda useless.

Maybe Ill try the fog HID kit then. Would you recommend 4300k or 6000k? I like the looks of the lexus below, its running 6000k according to his post.
I noticed I need to buy these as well on DDMTuning link you sent. Do I need all of these?
Mounting Brackets
HID Harness
Error Eliminator
Adaptor cables

I also found these online,
I was thinking I could also just buy these ...the mirror white 4000K seem to be pretty "white". Also noticed the nitro blue 4000k, but they seem more blue than my stock 4300k low beams.
Which do you think would match the stock 4300K HID low beams I have?
Thanks

I say 35W 4300k. It's probably the closest you could get it to match. That Lexus is probably running 55w ballasts, hence why the lights seem more white than blue.
I didn't link the DDM link though, that was NYCROBTSX lol I would personally go with a Morimoto kit, but since it's for fogs it might not be worth spending so much on. DDM should be fine. The kit should have everything you need. All the other extra stuff you shouldn't need.
Mounting bracket | you can use 3m double sided tape and secure the ballast to the bumper near each fog, most likely on the back cover of the fake vents. Maybe a few zip ties as well in case the double sided tape fails.
HID Harness | Don't need that
Error Eliminator | Our cars don't give us one when using HID kits for fogs
Adaptor cables | Don't need that
As for the regular halogen bulbs, I there's no way that they will actually match. Those photos are most likely edited. Also never heard of that brand before, but I recommend Nokya bulbs. $20 a pair.

That's the official place to get them from. If you're willing to spend $150 on it for the fogs then go ahead lol. And Heavy duty is what you want. The only cars I know of that need the CANBUS system are Hyundai's.

The one you linked, no. I assume they sell 4300k as well seeing how they show the chart in the description.
Why not just get a DDM Tuning kit? A lot cheaper butt sometimes a hit and miss kinda thing lol

What's the most common bulb for the DRL and fog lights that everyone uses here? I just got my 2011 TSX and I want to change my DRL to a nice white as well as my fog lights but I don't want to go through the hassle of getting an HId kit
