Smile Fix hyper flashing without load resistors

Hi all,

I'm searching for fixes on hyper flashing problem with LEDs and I don't want to use load resistors as they get very hot and need to mod wirings

I believe Accord Euro/TSX does't come with analog relays so replacement option won't work...
I did a bit digging and this thread came up
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...=815219&page=1

does this work on our TSX?

btw I went on eBay and bought http://www.ebay.com/itm/220596486622 already lol.

Sorry for going off-topic here https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-performance-parts-modifications-299/hid-lights-led-lights-all-throughout-car-808947/

This is your chance in being a pioneer in the TSX community. Get in your TSX and see what can find and report back.

Yessss please this would be very useful, even though I already have my resistors installed I been having problems with my actual VLED's. They don't flash correctly. But I havent sent them back because of all the work I put in on installing the resistors.

This is confirmed to work on the TSX as I just did this to my 08 today.

Directions:
1. Read through this thread on how to install a resistor in place of the shunt resistor because all of the details have been covered on this mod (first page in this thread shows how to install it). https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/g-109-diy-eliminate-led-bulb-induced-hyper-flashing-without-load-resistors-815219/ This is located in the TL section, but the relay is identical on the TSX.
2. If you don't want to read through the whole thread to figure out all the trials and tribulations everyone went through, use a 0.24ohm 1w 5% wirewound resistor regardless if you are using only 2 front LED's or changing all 4. You can get away with using a .12ohm resistor if you are only changing 2, but this leaves room for expansion if you decide to change all 4.
3. The resistors I ordered were from Digikey, part #PPC1W.24CT-ND
4. I ordered 10 by accident, but my total was still only like $7.
5. Lastly, some folks still seemed to experience issues with switchbacks, but regular LED's run great. I am running Platinum 7w high power LED's from VLED's in my car (amber in front, red in the rear) and they are ridiculously bright. They are on sale for $49.99/pr reg. $79.99 right now if anyone is interested. They are pricey, but well worth it if you ask me.

I can take pics/short video if anyone wants to see it.
