Yeah i still do have warranty... and I also don't wanna chop shit up. Just want to do bolt ons that can be removed when i sell the car easily.
I'm between 2-3k a lot actually. And the car sits at like 2700rpm while cruising at around 80mph. so is that shit gonna just be rasping all the way down the highway? that would be so annoying.

Does any have the downpipe and vibrant resonator installed?
Im curious to know how bad the rasp is before I install the downpipe on my car.
I drive to school and work everyday and I dont wanna go mad on a day to day basis. Lol

No problem, it's not loud at all, but sounds great. I think it could be just a bit louder but for those who want a nice sound with not a lot of noise this is it. I also feel like it added some power

Guys, my current setup is stock piping with RV6 PCD and HFC, Vibrant Ultra Quiet and 15.5in Vibrant bottlestyle, and 2 x Magnaflow 14829. It drones a lot. I thought i could live with it but no. My goal is to have an exhaust system that is a louder than stock, but nothing too crazy.
I guess there are 2 options for me now:
1. Replace the 15.5in resonator with a Ultra Quiet or Magnaflow 12645 (which has 18in body length and 6in diameter). Does anyone know which is better at dampening the exhaust sound?
2. Swap out the Magnaflow mufflers for something quieter (or has less drone). What do you recommend? I am looking at Flowmaster 50 Delta Flow or 60 series, Dynomax Ultraflo SS or Super Turbo.
I live in Australia so sourcing these parts from the US is a real pain and costly. I want to go with the safest route this time.
Thanks and Merry Christmas!!

I would look at the Varex muffler.
I am thinking about getting one now that they have a US supplier. They are from Australia. And allow you to go max or muffled flow through the muffler.

Optimus, are you not happy with the Flowmaster 40 series? Thanks for your suggestion, I've just had a looked at Varex mufflers, it is a bit pricey for a dual exhaust guy like me (from AU$400 each).

No, I actually like the flowmaster just fine.
I am currently, and plan on staying with the single exhaust.
I have been considering the varex though to stay super low key.

This is true.
The other day no cars were on the road, and I was running up to star bucks, a mustang was with me on the highway and just dropped it. I also dropped it and walked away from him. After that he dropped back. Pride is a weird thing like that....

I've had other mustangs that were really fun about it, and would want to talk for a few minutes.
Of course you get the mazdaspeed three, and older acura's running around, and civic SI;s. nobody really running boost though, so you let them run and then walk past them.

Lol I never get anyone trying to run me except this one Camaro. Not sure why because my car looks stock besides tints. But I do love the days when you get a car next to you and your car looks stock but its not and you walk all over them. I miss that so I really want some more hp. I love the car as is, has lots of get around pep but no beat the crap out of you power

Haha, the Mustang guy must have thought "Ah, another Honda/Acura, this must be the easy one". Until he saw your tail lights...

Exactly, i do really want to keep this car and put on some more power. The more i look at it, the less i want to trade it in for something else.

Convince RV6 to make it cheap lol; they won't though.
Comptech/CT-Engineering discontinued the exhaust because it's too expensive for an American company to R&D and make a full catback and still compete with "custom" or universal setups. They said so themselves, forgot where... not even sure if it was on azine. They're sticking to their SC game amongst a few other things.
If you want cheap, buy Vibrants/Magnaflows and get the shop to weld them together, preferably tig weld. If you want a full system, expect to spend at least $1000 new.

I wanted to go single muffler but bolt on and Japanese made soooo I ordered the greddy sp exhaust after finally finding that other cu2s have successfully installed the one made for the usdm 8th gen accord 4 cyl with no issues... But the exhaust is now discontinued and no longer being sold new faaaaaaak
It was so reasonably priced too at just over 600 shipped.. If greddy still made it.. I understand our cars were made in a recession era but this is history and guys with cu2's and expendable capital can't get a flippin exhaust unless they want Megan/obx China knockoffs smh... Looks like I'm going custom to a single apex ws universal..

That blows.... where were you looking? Have you tried rhdjapan? They might have some stock left over, but keep in mind their stock is in Japan, so shipping is going to be expensive, although initial cost will be low.

Problem with this is that the exhaust was made for a usdm vehicle so you won't find it on nengun or rhd.. Only stuff made for the cu2 which is fujitsubo and mugen which are both duals and EXPENSIVE sigh
