lol well... it has it's perks
But this one is easy, you can cross reference every part between 09 and 12 on the internet. They are the same.
Secondly, The only thing that matters is the bolt pattern on the manifold, and again that did not change. Everything else (tubes, pulley's, tensioner etc..) they all get attached to your SC and SC-Manifold.
CTE injectors are modified Honda injectors for higher CC flow rate (no worry there)
Spark plugs you leave alone unless stage 2... then buy EVO injectors.
It's honestly very straight forward. Feel free to PM me if you have specific worries about something fitting. I know the install pretty well since I did it myself.

The only problem I really had with the install as far as hardware goes.. The bolt cte supplied to support the sc manifold wasn't long enough. I couldn't get the threads to engage. Like it was way short, by like an inch. So I had to buy a longer one. $8 for a single bolt. Pretty expensive.

Did you ever contact ct about that??.. Seems if it's a bolt on kit designed specifically for our ride that it would come with at least the right bolts.. Kind of a jew move on ct's part.. Only asking cuz my supercharger is coming after summertime (after I sell all these damn watches to brazilians lol).. If my bolts come too short as well best believe I'm doing the same thing and hauling ass to the nearest ACE hardware... But it would be nice if they fixed that issue.
It was one bolt, that wasn't long enough.. so I fixed the problem and moved on. Maybe ask Marcus to contact CTE about it and make sure they supply the correct bolt for the manifold support?? It was really obvious that it was wrong (for one it didn't thread into the hole) and secondly they take a picture in comparison to the other bolts to identify which one you need, and the one they sent me was clearly not the same one they identified in the picture.
But other than that, CTE was on point with the other hardware. Lacking in CU2 specific instructions, but you kinda figure it out.

no no.. Just one long bolt and bracket that supports the manifold and supercarger. You can imagine the moment on that thing being bolted at an angle like that. It needs support.
BUTTTT MERC RACING sent me the aftercooler manifold with wrong size holes! I couldn't get the bolt through the damn holes. I was really mad about that... anyways, don't mean to rant. If you are serious about the SC build I would suggest looking at my thread. I pretty much outline any problems I had and how to fix them. Including how to correctly wire you boost gauge, and wideband so you can get it working with Hondata.

I tried contacting CT a few times with questions on supporting the 2011+ TSX. Never got a response. Their website says for only dealers to call so we are left with just emailing a blackhole. Unfortunatley for us CU2 owners we don't really have many choices in the way of SC kits. So CT can choose to ignore our emails. In fact thier CARB cert for the 09-10 CU2 has been outstanding for a long time and I don't see it ever being CARB cert for the 2011+ at this rate either. I can only assume they have about 2 people working at CT renting a small space/garage in a undescript commercial realestate space. Let's hope we get some more choices in the future from a more customer focused company.

You won't.. People (aftermarket manufacturers) don't care about Acuras, it's not where the market is at. They make them to sell for accord, and civic.. Then just apply to acura. It's the way of the world

VTEC just kicked in, yo!

Im about one inch away from ordering the supercharger but I was hoping on using the paypal credit "18 month no interest" offer but only the 6 month offer comes up. That 18 month thing would of been awesome to use.

I'm confident in saying there are less than 20 supercharged Cu2's in the nation! It's a pretty exclusive club honestly! Maybe I'll make stickers haha

I bet you could do a straight trade for stick with more miles on it. Everyone wins

Probably but i don't think there are many mt owners who would want to trade for an at lol.

You can also do a transmission conversion. It's been done before with many Hondas in the past.
You will love your car more and it will love you back a lot more since you freed it.
