lets talk FACTS WITH REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE.....enough of the internet pontificators 
i own a 2nd gen tsx.
i owned a CTE Icebox for said vehicle.
My lid did not touch the hood insulation.
also, there have been many of those discussed on this forum and others and I have not seen any other reports about this.
The assumption is you installed it correctly. IIRC you couldnt mess up the box install.
But what about the lower pipe that slips onto the bottom of the box. maybe you are adding enough LIFT from down there to cause the interference with the hood.
Also, I know others have talked about the lids having a weird shape and causing some issues. On mine I used some 1/2 foam tape around the top of the box then bought some allens and rubber washers to hold the lid on. Did you add foam under the lid that might be causing this?

For a guy that wants to give an appearance of intellectual superiority, your grammar and punctuation leave much to be desired. In addition, you became the definition of your last post WITH your last post. Bravo.
And for the record, I wasn't being sarcastic. Your post actually was helpful, although you really didn't say anything new or earth shattering. I'm sure OP will deeply value your insight though since you have the same car and intake.

Butt, if they are rubbing in a bad way like the OP, you can probably fix the issue by cutting out a piece of the insulation or apply personal lubricant generously
