C-Mod Grille - Initial test fit

Just got my C-Mod grille. Before I spend $100 to get it painted, I did a test fit to make sure it fits right. Looks like I will get it painted...

Yup. The grille was loosely mounted just to see how it fitted. I noticed that the grille wasn't completely flush with the bumper and the hood like the OEM grille. Overall I like the new grille.

As for the stripe, keeping it on for a week to see if it grows on me or not.

I am not going to lie but there is a certain level of risk when doing this. I just jump into it, only way to learn. In this case removing the OEM grille was a pain...removing the bumper and then the grille would be the easier route. I did not completely install the new grille. After it gets painted I will have to do some drilling into it so it can be mounted to the bumper.

if you want to make it fit better, you might have to do some sanding to make it fit better. that's what i have to do with the ATLP grille.

Actually it's not sanding that I have to do. I will need some spacers. The grille seats further into the bumper. If you look closely to the first and third photos you will see what I am talking about. To tell you the truth it doesn't look bad...to me that is.

Looks too much like a large mouth bass to me. You need something in that big hole.

When I bought my Cmod grille they had this "center bar" look. For some reason it's not listed on their website anymore...
