Best Brake Setup?

Hey guys i have a 2010 TSX and during braking got some pulsating on the pedal, took it to the dealer and they said the front rotors needed resurfacing and the pads were still good. The brakes are a bit better but i'm a perfectionist and want to upgrade all 4 rotors and pads, the car has 34K miles on it and hate the brake fade. I would like more bite from them i'm not lowered yet and still on stock wheels.

Anyone of you guys with upgraded rotors and pads and your thoughts or any recommendations? i saw the XLR8 brake kit but not sure if it would clear the factory wheels.

Our brake packages are designed to work with factory calipers and are the perfect upgrade.

These Acurazine brake packages are designed to improve braking performance and durability at a reasonable price. The packages include Powerslot/STOPTECH performance rotors and STOPTECH Performance pads. All of the rotors have a black e-coating on the hubs and vanes and an advanced alloy composition. The Powerslot slotted rotors for the front of most Acuras also have a Power Alloy composition and a curved vane construction, which helps reduce heat in the brake system. The STOPTECH Performance pads are a para-aramid compound, which has great initial bite and long-term performance and lower dust and noise than most aftermarket brake pads.

Be sure to get braided brake lines and and upgraded fluids at the same time. The brake lines make a big difference on getting that stiff pedal/quick bite. I have XLR8's Stoptech kit, and they are absolutely amazing.

No, and I forgot to even compare weight of both, but I at least do have the stock removed that I could weigh.

I have my custom RL caliper setup ready to go...(well, just waiting form the SS lines to be delivered). I pieced it together with custom brackets and EBC rotors for a brembo 350z. Pairing it with EBC red stuff pads and XLR8 stainless lines. I have the calipers painted a custom color too. Ill probably have it installed by the end of December.

If you want to upgrade without any modification & use OEM parts. Upgrade with the twin pot calipers & 12.59" rotors from the Euro version car. You will need the items listed below.

CALIPER SUB ASSY., R. FR. - 45018TL0G50

So where did you get the custom brackets for the RL? I had previously looked into these, but nobody had a bracket available.

The calipers don't appear to be available stateside. I wonder what the cost is, though.

An another option for OEM BBK is to take TL Type S brake assembly (They are brembo tagged under Acura). This is something that I am looking to fit.
