Ok, I've had XM for 6 yrs. I've never paid full price and I'm currently on the $77 per year deal which ends Oct 31. I just bought my TSX, so I have a 3 month trail. That takes me to the end of September. They told me that they couldn't just tack on the extra 3 months because I was on a promotion..I said fine..I'll call back later if I want to extend (and get another deal!). They are crediting me the difference.

They asked if I wanted to extend the traffic and weather. I did not know that was an extra fee. She said it was an extra $3.99 per month ( I don't know if that's each or together) I also declined.

So, I currently will have weather and traffic for 3 months....my question, do you use it??? Is it worth the extra money per month?? I have a feeling I will not utilize it much..so I'll see during my trial period.

Any thoughts?? Do you use it much?

weather and traffic are useless. i canceled both and don't miss it in the least

 

I don't use it at all, nice gimmick for free for three months but that is it. Music could be worthwhile but the rest is not.

 

Im on day 7 of my trail. Will they call you to extend it or some message pop up on you navi?

 

I never really used the traffic and weather, but I use XM all of the time, I just have to get mine renewed and placed on my account with my other vehicles.

 

On the same plan mine also ends in oct removed weather useless my phone has a better weather app and its free. So I went with the traffic I use it with the navi to avoid traffic and check it on my way to work to avoid traffic and its 3.99 for each not together. But im planing to cancel if they dont offer me a better deal before oct.
