Hi im a new owner of a 2010 tsx but im still not very familiar with the vehicle (hence why i joined up on this site). I want to put in white led lights on my license plate and inside lights but now the question is do LED's work or does some wiring need to be changed. On my 2007 GTI the LED's wouldnt work with the cars stock wiring. I dont want to change any wiring or anything so are there any lights I can get that are good and will give me a white LED like look that will work very simply with me just putting them in and turning the car on. Yes, Its pretty simple to DIY, here is a link to a ebay supplier that i got my lights for, they are Super LED's and are a lot brighter than the ones you would find in your local autozone or pepboys type of stire, this is from JDM toy, lights are from Japan and work well, i have a similar set up in my CL...you can check there store for the license plate lights as well or just search on ebay, but i know this seller carries high quality LED's

So then LED's work with the TSX without needing to modify any of the wires or any converters or anything?

 

they are just replacement bulbs, the LED's will be the same fitment as the OEM factory bulbs, no re-wiring if you are just talking about replacing the bulbs themselves, all you will do is pull out the bulbs and replace with the LED bulb, that link i provided has a full replacement of the factory bulbs, the door panels, the dome and the map lights

Do the autozone/pep boys chains carry LED's? I live in NY and ive been to 2 of them and they told me you have to get them off ebay or soemthing because they dont carry them.

 

pep boys carries a weak LED that is not that bright, that link with JDM toy carries a good LED light that is bright

Depends where you are, I'm somewhat close to California where they are shipped from, takes about 3 or 4 days, if you are on the East coast maybe 4 or 5 business days...its worth the wait rather than searching local stores that mostly have the dull LED's that are not that bright

 

Yea im on the East Coast. I placed my order today in the morning. I cant wait to get them! Hopefully somehow they could come in by the weekend. Doubt it though.

I ordered the ones for the license plate alone first to see how i like them. They turned out good and easy to install, so i just ordered a few for the interior. The front and rear map lights, and the lights on the bottom of the doors. Any other cheap and simple things I could do to make it look good? Except LED's for the inside mirrors and stuff cuz I never use em anyway so its kind of a waste.

 

This is what it looks like now..The lights look more blue on the pictures but they are actualy white. I dont know why it came out so much darker
