What's the best Ipod to buy if you are just going to leave it in your car as your audio source? By best I mean the one that integrates the best so it is the easiest to use. Or do they all work the same?

 

Why not just use a USB? Much cheaper IMO.

 

i think they all work the same. so if i were u, i would eihter:
A) like clickit mentioned, get a 8GB USB or something
B) go online or a store and buy a USED ipod.
C) if you gonna use it not only in the car but u listen to it at school or work or w/e, then buy a new ipod...or if ur not an ipod fan then other mp3 players.

 

Thanks but don't you have more control with an Ipod? I thought there's a problem scrolling thru music with a USB. I've got about 50 gig of music and lectures.

 

I'd go to your owner manual or to the Acura owner site and see which specific models they recommend for the best compatibility. For iPods with Video I think version 5 and up. I don't think the small clip on players will work at all. iPod mini's may work.

I don't have the specific URL to the page but a search within Acura's sites should tell you.

For this purpose you'd probably want a refurb or a cheap model off e-bay just in case it should get stolen.

 

i use my old ipod nano and it works great.
and since you have 50 gb of msuic..yeah usb doesnt really wroks. so jsut get a used ipod ors omething
