TSX Tech audio upgrade help

I am looking to upgrade how my audio system sounds, so i bought these

-pair of JBL GTO 608c and 2 pairs of JBL GTO 638
-5-channel amp pioneer d9605

can i use pioneer amp for 4 speakers and stock amp for 2 speakers? or will i have to make do with 4 speakers?

also i think these speakers are 2 ohm will it cause any problems?

I believe your stock speakers are 2 ohm so I don't think it's gonna be a problem but the aftermarket amp installation will be a challenge. There is plenty to read about on this forum from "ELS audio upgrade" members who had great intentions but then wish they never touched the stock system. If you are serious about doing this install, the first thing is you have to read Mercman's stuff because he's the only one here has conquered the journey ahead.

The only way for this to sound good would be to bypass that system.

I would keep the ESL system with the two speakers you want connected for navi sounds etc. Then, install a single din head unit in your glovebox or centre console for your new JBL speakers and subwoofer. Thats the only way to achieve the sound you want unless you want to use something like a JBL MS8 to sum up all the outputs of the stock amp.. not worth the cost imo. Downside is, you'll have to route new speaker wire to all speaker areas u plan on replacing - although this is very beneficial.

No offense to mercman but his harness is not on the market and its pretty much a prototype.

Having 2 HU's doesn't seem realistic especially in the glove box but if it doesn't bother you than have at it. I don't know that I would use the MS8 either as it seems like a lot of money to run aftermarket speakers that could or could not sound better than the stock OEM speakers. Sad but true.

I can only speak for wagon but it was an 8 inch sub in an enclosure (see above pic) so the answer is going to be no. Many have tried but to no avail. Free air is a great idea and there are some that operate in this application a lot better than others so choose wisely and remember that it will still require more power than the OEM amplifier can put out to achieve the sound upgrade you are looking for.
