Tsb for speakers in tsx tech.

Just got a call from Honda saying they ordered the wrong speakers for my car. The good news is, and I don't know it this is old news but, there is a TSB for the speaker problem.

I will talk to the Honda service tech and see what it says the fix is.

Veddy intelesting.

My SA said my replacements were "beefier than the originals" but, they didn't last any longer than the 1st or second partial set.

I'd be willing to give them another chance, providing they don't send it back to the dipsh!ts in the detail department afterwards where they get trashed again immediately.

Interesting to know that the replacements are no better then the factory ones. Anyway they ordered the Foster speakers which are the ones that they put in the Premium model. The Tech uses Panasonic. That was after I sat in the parts department educating them and confirming with Acura that the Tech model had Panasonic speakers.

Ooh, so the TSB is for superceding the Fosters for the Panasonic?

(I'm no audiophile, but Panasonic has always been crap from the little bit I do know about it.)

But if the problem is the amp and not the speakers you may end up blowing expensive speakers.
