In my previous TSX (2006 no Nav) when I was using Handsfreelink and talking on the phone I would see the phone number of a new call coming in on the dash. Now I have a 2012 TSX with Navi, and when I am on the phone, I only hear a ring, no caller ID and nothing on the Nav screen. I have to look at my Iphone 4S to see who is calling. I have read my owner's manuals from top to bottom and nothing about caller ID while I am on a call (using the same phone btw). Am I to assume that the Handsfreelink in my old 2006 TSX was better than the 2012 version?. Please note this only happens when I am on the phone, if I receive a phone call normally, I will get a notification on the Nav screen with caller ID. Anybody notice this issue?...insights?

 

I thought the exact same thing when I had a 2012 service loaner. The caller information is only displayed on the Navigation screen and not the MID. Makes absolutely no sense.

 

I have a 2009 tech and it never shows who's calling, is it supposed to?

 

Well, the problem is that when you are already on a call and another call comes in the call doesn't show up at all...neither in the MID nor the Nav screen. I called Acura and they have no idea why!..geez

 

If the phone you are using is compatible with the call waiting feature of Handsfreelink it certainly should show up

 

Mine just beeps to tell me that I have another call. Nothing on screen.

 

That's the problem...on my old '06 TSX the second call shows up on the MID.

 

Hmmm. I'll have to double check that.

 

Works for me. Doesn't always show the name but always the #.

 

Does you TSX have Nav or no Nav?
