NEXTEL Push-to-Talk and the 11 TSX BlueTooth
In my 07 RDX, my Nextel (Motorola) Push to Talk phone used to work with the BlueTooth in the car. The car never chirped, but the NAVI screen would blank out and show the iDen number and I could talk to my co-worker by pressing the PTT button on the phone and the conversation would come through the car speakers, and the car microphone would pick up what I was saying.
In my new TSX Wagon, if my co-workers try and PTT me, the screen blanks and displays the iDen number, but that's it. I can't talk to the guy, and he can't hear me.
Has anyone else had this issue? What really sucks is when this happens, I have to take my phone out of BT mode, then call the guy back. While driving, this is a pain in the butt and I have to take my eyes off the road.
Strange that the RDX worked and the TSX won't.

Well, I figured this one out myself, almost by accident.
For those interested, when your display shows the Nextel Direct Connect number on screen as your car receives the call, such as 175*4989893*24 (or whatever it is), you have to push the phone switch on your steering wheel. Your display will now highlight TRANSFER. Press your joystick control on the dash in to select TRANSFER and you're done. You can now use the push to talk feature with your bluetooth car speakers.
