NAVTOOL with DVD player

Hello guys, I have 2010 ACURA TSX with Tech PKG. I am thinking about purchasing a NAVTOOL (http://www.navtool.com/acuratsx2.aspx) so I can play dvd on factory nav in my car. Is ther any special dvd player I need to purchase or particular one? Thinking about an external dvd player. It it possible to play a movie thru the USB input in my car? Is there a way to connect iPod or Samsung Vibrant phone to connect NAVTOOL? If you can recommand me one, which one should I purchase?

Also, I live in Dallas and I was wondering if anyone members know if there is a place who can professionally install this NAVTOOL. Thank you guys.

Over on the 3G side, people have used the Myron & Davis AD212 3/4 DIN dvd player.
It fits nicely in the cubby hole.

you have to buy another piece of hardware.

there are several choices.
most commonly used is the P.I.E x3 unit or the isimple.

To effectively get your nav display to properly display movies...there are 3 main components.

- DVD player
- Nav converter
- Audio input device.

Have all three, and you can play movies!

Fuuny Man, LOL.

I have spent some $$$ on my car lately. I have installed laser jammers and V1 radar detector and cost $$$$ but saved me a lot of money on speed ticket.
I will keep you guys posted with NAVTOOL. Thanks again guys.

there was one user from south africa who had full custom setup done and removed his whole radio system and replaced it with custom dvd/gps interface...and his stock one was still uptop so he had 2 nav screens !!

his setup looked awesomely awesome but it probably wouldnt be feasible for everyone nor would ppl wanna remove their stock set up!

I've been looking to see if I can get an in-dash nav aftermarket, but doesn't seem like anything would fit and/or interface with the stock controls

Nice, I use a Valentine 1 too with my 2013 RDX AWD Tech along with my Waze. How have your laser jammers worked out for you?

I'm planning on installing a Navtools too which will let me get Video and Audio off my iDevice. I think that'll be good enough for my video-to-nav screen needs.
