Punched the ELS to 40
Punched the ELS to 40
In my 2011 Tech, the most I run the radio is at about 17... punched to 40 tonight... my God crystal clear and the bass was pumping in my chest.
One helluva a system.
One helluva a system.
You know what I really hate, though? In the 2009, the volume level appears on the big screen. I'm guessing starting with the HDD navi on the 2011+, it no longer appears. I still find myself looking at the spot where the volume would be.
I play it at 20 LOL...If it's a good song maybe 25. Older passengers keep it 10-15. Subwoofer is maxed out. Although I do not have the tech package. I have taken it to max just to see what it would do. My female passenger and I had a good time too when it was maxed, with the windows and sunroof open haha. I listen to Hip-Hop/RnB so yes I guess I am disturbing the peace

I actually run it at 40 most of the time, windows/sunroof open. I play a lot of hip hop/r&b and EDM LOL. The difference between like 10 and 20 is much greater than like 30-40. after around 30-ish it all feels same to me LOL. Bass and Treble maxed out, sub maxed out, i'm honestly surprised i haven't busted a speaker yet
Does it also matter what you are playing music through? For bluetooth/aux/USB I usually only go up to around 9 or 10. I feel like through the radio I went up to higher numbers, but I haven't listened to the radio/XM in months so I cant remember.
For me whenever I'm playing music I'll do 30-35 on the radio same with XM, settings at Dolby off (Better Bass), +6 Bass, +6 Subwoofer, +0 Treb. When playing cd's its much louder and the bass is much better so I bump it up to 25-28, scared to go past 28 because I have the fear of cops.
