My compass direction used to rotate with the direction of the car always heading"up" now it seems to always be pointing north, does anyone know how to adjust it. it is a 2009 with Nav. Thanks

 

yea, go to the options/settings in the nav. you can change orientation between the 2

 

press down on the middle and it should bring up a menu option of sorts. it should say north up or direction up or something like that. it's like 2 button presses if i remember correctly.

the 2012 options were more convoluted. i had to dig around a lot just to change this.

 

Push in Enter on the big knob for the menu and on the top left you can toggle between "Heading Up" (this will move your compass) or "North Up", where your compass will never move.
