Newb here. Have a 2009 TSX with this problem. The issue is the SHADE design...it does not project out from the dash far enough, so that when sun comes down vertically and hits in front of the screen, it washes out the nav screen with glare. The problem is with the dash design--a longer shade projecting out over the top of the screen would have fixed the problem. Classic example of designers not thinking about engineering, and testers not noticing something obvious, or more likely, accountants not allowing the problem to get fixed before the car hits the dealership because only a few hundred people might notice. The mouse pad "fix" is pathetic, really.
agreed. it is pretty pathetic, it doesnt really help, the glare is almost just as bad.

As mentioned above....here is the S/B for it. Just a piece of vinyl with a felt back to prevent sliding. But it is free and made to fit. Cuts the glare down.
