Memory seats moving back

When I had a TSX loaner from my dealer, the driver's seat would automatically move back from the preset position so that when I would return to the car, it was easy to get in. I have a 2012 TSX sport wagon with tech package. I've found my seat in the moved back position a couple of times when I've entered the car. I have no clue how this happened. Is there a way to set the seats so they automatically move back?

I don't see an option for that anywhere in the settings menu on my car. There is an option for memory seats, but all it does is put your seat in the preset position when you push the unlock button on the key (if the seat wasn't already in the position)

What happened when you got in the car? Did the seats automatically move into position or did you have to press the '1' button?

My guess is your had the "preset position" stored in memory 1 and the key you were using to unlock was tied to memory 2 (or vice versa), which was set a lot further back from where you sit. The TSX seats don't have the "Entry/Exit" feature that some cars have.

As for seeing the seats move in your own car, this might happen if you moved the seats somehow the last time you were driving. When you unlock with the remote, it moves the seats back to the memory position (if you have your key synced).
