Lost iPhone 4 Bluetooth pairing about once a month

My 2011 TSX Tech would lose the Bluetooth pairing with my iPhone 4 about once a month. I would get into the car in the morning and notice that my iPhone 4 is not connected to my TSX and I need to re-do the Bluetooth Hand-free pairing. I have not disconnected the battery and there is no problem with the battery. Has anyone else experienced this also?

I'm seeing the same thing with my iPhone4, mine is a 2011 non-tech auto.

Anyone else?

It's a problem with the car, I read about it in this forum but can't remember what it was now. I've had my non-tech 2010 paired to my iPhone4 since April 11th when I got the car and no problems. I use it probably once a day for the phone and the music on HFL.

It happens to me with my Sprint/Nextel phone. All of a sudden, I get the "There are no Bluetooth phones paired" message.

Well I am new here and I guess I posted my same question in the General froum. We just bought an 09' without NAV...but it has bluetooth. My wife says it won't connect to her i4. What are we doing wrong. Do we need NAV to make it work?

if i could take a guess, its interfering with the secret tracking device that steve jobs planted in all apple products to spy on you. throwing it into the ocean or burning it has cured this problem for many people.

Anyone that has a twitter account should send a direct message or mention @AcuraClientCare

I just did and they are going to look into the bluetooth issue. We need more people that have the issue to tell Acura, because they think it is just 1-2 people when there are a lot more people having this issue. They just asked me from my VIN and phone number on twitter, hopefully we can get to the bottom of this issue.

Try clearing your HFL database

Hi,

Have you tried clearing your hands free link database. I had pairing issues and read somehere to clear the hfl database. I did it and now my phone pairs without any problems. The instructions on how to clear/reset your hfl is in the user manual that came with the car.

This happens to me about every six weeks or so for no outwardly apparent reason. I have a 2011 non-tech and the original Droid on Verizon. It sucks because you have to recreate your phone book each time it happens, which is just about the most clunky process in the history of mankind, so I've just stopped creating it. When I need to make a call I just say the number, or if I don't know it, use my phone to dial. Way less than ideal, but so is sitting in my car every six weeks calling out names and numbers to voice prompts over and over again. The HFL website tells me the Droid is not "fully" supported anyway so I figure Acura would just tell me it's a phone/Android/Verizon issue, and I'm not a huge phone user so it's not like a crisis to me. I'd love for them to come up with a fix though.

I am having the same problem. The dealer is ordering a new bluetooth unit for our car. Hopefully, that will resolve the problem.

I had problems with this prior to getting my new 4gs Iphone. Ever since I got my upgraded phone it has worked flawlessly.
