2012 Sportwagon. I use the remote liftgate all the time and would like to dampen the piercing beep noise it makes on open/close.

For the sake of my ears and the quietude in my neighborhood.

Any ideas where the beeper might be located? Or how to find out? On a wiring schematic somewhere?

I think one can just put a piece of tape on it to dampen the sound.

I don't have an Acura dealer close by and the Honda dealer isn't sure where it's located.
