I can't find the actual product but it was on ijdmtoy.com.... you need the R2 resistor set up

No error code. No hyper flash. Can still use the high beams (bright AF when you turn them on)

Looks great, cheap, a child could install it

I'm new here and have been searching over and over for this. And from other post it seems like the the lights are no longer available. I get that LED companies change products all the time. Does anyone have a link to a current set up that works?

Yes, you will receive an error since it's deemed part of the safety features of the car. Furthermore, IMO, I would resist changing over the DRL/high beam system to LED. Not only will you get an error fault, but the lighting will not be as good as a regular halogen bulb. I don't have a link for you but there are plenty of resistor kits on Amazon, just search antiflicker module.

Thanks EuroRspec. Did some more research. My main goal is to not have "yellow" DRL's. I love the color of the HID. And want to match that with my DRL's. But. I don't want to lose the low beam high beam function. And of course I want the light to be as bright if not brighter than OEM. It looks like this is not possible. Unless there is a reliable halogen bulb that can achieve the color I'm looking for, and brightness.

Appreciate you responding. Just got my 12' and just tweaking things slowly to get it all perfect.

Is there a Halogen option you guys would recommend for the DRL's? One that eliminates the "yellow" I would prefer white or a light blue.

Not off the top of my head. I would recommend ordering a few extra white options on Amazon and testing them out.

I actually prefer yellow and use them as my fogs like on the JDM Integras so I bought pure yellow lol.

I think the issue you'll run into is that the DRL circuit runs at a relatively low voltage. And with such low power, the ability to generate a white light is pretty difficult with an incandescent bulb. They tend to the yellow spectrum at low power. LEDs don't have the same problem since they're already in a narrow spectrum to start with; you can get the white light. But their issue tends to be not having a truly "dim" setting for the DRL. They just blast as hi-beams.

I've been blessed with old ass vehicles and in an effort to always have the brightest, whitest light, I've kept on top what the newest fangled Osram bulbs were (well, every 3 years or so when I'd need one). Right now, I've got Osram Nighbreaker (Friggin) Laser bulbs and on my truck they were nice and white/bright. On the TSX hi-beam they're nice and white, but the DRL is still shitty yellow looking. Same for prior generation Nightbreakers.

I highly suspect that if you go fishing for white bulbs, you'll still be disappointed with them all.

Agreed. You may be able to get them slightly whiter, but no anything on the level of HID or LED.

You could still go with the LED/HID but run an antiflicker resistor to prevent any dash warnings.

Thanks to both of you for your recommendations. I have been searching all through the forums with regards to the DRL options. And I know you both have plenty of experience as I've seen your replies and advice to others. Looots of them. lol.

That's what I have seen with the LED's... Yes, I can get the color, but I will most likely lose the low beam functionality, get dash warnings if I don't install resistor's, etc. Part of me doesn't mind that... But I don't want to blind people day and night either.

Thanks again for your suggestions.

I just went through this process on mine recently. I bought a set of the lights in the link below (same as in post 2) and they work without resistors, no error codes/messages. I actually bought the R2 resistors from iJDMtoy and plugged them in with the bulbs the first time around and got an error message. Out of curiosity I plugged the bulbs in directly and removed the resistors entirely and everything worked fine. Been running them for about a month now and they are super bright in both DRL & high beam mode with a nice pure white color. I was a little concerned about how bright they are in DRL mode so I had my wife tail me to see what they look like to other drivers and even though they're bright they're not a nuisance due to the projection angle. I can upload a pic later today.

Nice! So is there a big difference in the low beam and high beam or not so much? And high beam is brighter at night I'm assuming?
Thanks for taking the time to post this. Probably get it also. Is that an affiliate link? lol

No problem, both settings are incredibly bright. Even though the DRL's are bright there is still a huge difference in brightness when you switch the high beams on. Not an affiliate link lol.
