It's been 3 months of tinkering and I am starting to lose it. It sounds worse than just the factory when it comes to bass, the mids and highs, however, are much clearer and the clarity is unreal when setup properly. I see where the hype for the unit comes from, but the bass just doesn't have the punch it used to on the factory amp before MS8 was installed. I am using the MS8 to power speakers, because based on my research, the factory amp and MS8 both provide same wattage and I figured it would be easier. Does anyone out there have JBL MS8 with OEM speakers and HU on a base TSX and if so what settings did you use for the setup/calibration (xover, etc.)?
