Angry iPod scrolling options on base stereo

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of an easier way to scroll through songs/albums/artists while using the integrated iPod controller on the base stereo of TSX. Right now it's only usable if you have everything managed through playlists. It is painful and time consuming to scroll through to the end of the artist/songs/albums list and yet I only have a 30GB iPod 5th Generation. Is there an easy way to scroll from A to B while going through the whole list of entries.

PS: Apple has addressed this in the old iPods through fast scroll. I hope such a feature exists in TSX base stereo too, otherwise I'll end up using AUX port, which sucks because iPod integration was one of selling points for me. Not too happy with tech on the TSX, Acura

I am very disappointed with the 'technology' in the TSX, there is a lot of other vehicles that seem more advanced than ours (cars that aren't even considered luxury) I hope Acura figures it out soon!!

I just go through artists. Only becomes a PITA on cold mornings when the menus take longer to load.

Will any iPod work in the CU2? I currently use my Iphone 4 but tired of having to disconnect and connect it back. I plan on buying an inexpensive iPod model to just leave in the car.

Why use iPhone through Bluetooth instead of USB wire?

I haven't thought about using a nano nor USB stick.

I might give the USB stick a try.

Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, anyone try using an external USB hard drive?

I have an older one that I have lying around eversince I moved up to a 500GB from an 80GB.

I guess i'll give that a try too once I get home this evening and post up the results. I'll probably have to put it in folders too like the USB flash.

Yeah, i'll have to use a USB flash. I want an iPod, but don't really want to spend money on something I don't need right now.
