Hello everyone! I cannot find any post or threads in regards to make my car's alarm go "beep" when I arm it. I somehow managed to get it silenced when I unlock and lock my car. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

 

The beep only occurs if you push the lock on the remote the second time. It is a confirmation.

 

Thanks, I just find it odd that most car gives you a confirmation, but Acuras don't.

 

it does give you confirmation on the second time you hit the lock button, if yours is off, go through the settings on the MID, or tell us what you have, and someone will walk you through it. 09/10 or 11 and base or tech

 

Even on the first push of lock button your parking lights flash.

 

I have a similar problem with my '09 TSX. Never would have even noticed except I had a '10 TL for a loaner the other day and its 'beep' was nice and clear. Mine is extremely quiet and I can't seem to find the setting on the MID.

 

It's in the MID menu under "keyless lock acknowledgment". It only beeps if you press the lock button twice on your key fob. One press just flashes the lights.
