How to add a the factory Nav system
It will be far cheaper finding and buying a V6 with tech than it would be to attempt a factory retrofit. Any retrofit will also come with electrical gremlins that will plague the car forever.
Quite frankly, a Garmin with lifetime maps and traffic is a far better deal. While not perfectly integrated, using the proper ProClipUSA mount comes pretty close to looking good and functioning well. If you are OK with the factory stereo than get a real nav and call it a day. Remember that phone based nav systems have significant limitations when the cell signal gets wonky.
