HFL alternative?
HFL alternative?
Looking for HFL alternatives instead of replacing it with an OEM? Any plug and play ways at the connector HFL plugs into the harness and maintains all /more then phone an music oem HFL OEM offers?
Kind of an old thread but I figured I’d share my experience.
I hooked up an Amazon Echo Auto back in December. For whatever reason I chose to keep the connection between my Phone, car and Echo Auto over bluetooth as opposed to the AUX – all while knowing the crummy reliability of the stock HFL. And it seems to have made my bluetooth connection reliable. I haven’t had to re-pair my phone manually ever since.
Theres still a 30s-60s delay before it connects and sometimes a hiccup where it disconnects but reconnects. But for the most part it’s been strangely reliable. Hope you find this useful!
I have a wagon with TECH btw.
