Handsfree Link (HFL) losing phone pairing

Hello All,

I bought a 2012 TSX premium (no navi) about 2 months ago. The first day I paired HFL with my phone (HTC One M7) and it worked like a charm. Music sounds great, phone calls coming through. Then out of nowhere I start my car and my phone is no longer paired. I have to go through the pairing process again. It holds the pairing for a couple of weeks and then it loses it. It seems to be happening almost weekly now that i have to pair my phone with HFL.

Note i've never had pairing issues with bluetooth and this phone. I had a bluetooth device that I use to connect to frequently and it never lost it's pairing.

I haven't been able to find any information on this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a technical service bulletin out on this. The dealer will swap out the HFL.

If you are outside of warranty, go to the dealer anyway, explain that it is a known problem with a Acura identified fix and that you'd like them to do a goodwill repair.

Keep us posted.

It's CPO so I might get lucky. I'll let you know.
