Just bought an 09 TSX with tech package. Not looking to dump a ton of $$ into it, but I am interested in suggestions on low cost "mods" - whether it be something to improve performance or something cool for the inside of the car.

When I say low cost, I mean not a turbo, or rims, or anything crazy like that.

have you thought about upgrading your interior lights to all white LEDS?

What kind of HP increase am I going to see by removing the intake resonator? I'm honestly not mechanically intelligent by any means so I've also gotta ask- are there any downsides to this? Is there any noticable effect besides an increase in HP?

 

Don't know about HP gains but driving "normally" I was able to get 1MPG more on average. But I find myself loosing 1-2MPG because I push the pedal more to hear it roar...

Downsides? as stated you will want to hear it roar. But it wont damage anything mechanically or electrically.

By the way you can also get K&N drop in filter.

+1 on the filter. its like 50 bucks and i believe u can use it for a long time correct? just clean it once in a while?

 

Yeah filter is lifetime. Just needs cleaning every 50,000 miles.

Where did you get the HID foglights from?

 

Any HID kit size H11 will work. DDM is highly recommended, but they weren't selling when I bought, So I bought some eBay ones.

 

word of warning, DDM has a month long hold on orders right now, expect to wait for that sweet sweet HID kit
