DVD-A won't play
Hi all,
I just purchased the Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band Swingin' For the Fences DVD-A to add to my (small) DVD-A collection. Despite saying DVD-A on the box, it doesn't play in my 09 TSX Tech. When interted, the track number is displayed and time timer increments, but no sound. I can skip to other tracks with the same result. If I try to fast forward using the > button, that's when I get a message about it being a bad disk.
It plays just fine in my DVD player and I don't have problems playing any other DVD-A's in the car.
Does anyone else have this disk?

Just to be a dipshit, I put the 1991-2000 Smashing Pumpkins DVD in the CD player and it read "Consult Owners Manual."
Sometimes not even my son's X-360 won't play certain DVD's. I know you're talking DVD-A, but you said others play fine, so it must be something goofy about the disc.

I asked my wife the the Big Phat Band DVDA for Christmas. I'm glad to know that it doesn't work--maybe I'll just ask for the CD instead.
