Have any pics of your finished install? id like to see how it looks with the trim back on and wires hidden...

Also, if you jsut used wires to hold that amp in place, do u hear any vibrations from bass etc

okay..so i made this thread because i put in an amp rack..and now im looking to tweak it..my goal was to basically get my trunk back ..i have two amps and a processor so they take up plenty of space.. i had no previous experience doing anything like this so it took me a loooonnng time lol.. lots of reading and researching and making drawings(might of gone overboard)..haha..

i acknowledge i lack expertise ..please feel free to share any thoughts comments or critiques..not only to help me but others in our growing community

so i decided to hang my 3 items from the rear deck.. each are various sizes- also.. i didn't want to drill any holes- if you look- there are some holes in the rear deck -however trying to align those with the amp can be tough.. so i decided to get slotted metal from HD and hung two of these about a few inches from the rear deck--the space was needed becasue the stock sub is there and i couldn't for the life of me take it out..

the plan was to hang two 3 foot slotted metal across the tunk..about a foot apart to sort of form a foundation- then hang another set directly below as the bottom of my rack

- originally i used threaded rod to hang it from the rear deck

i ended up having to move some of the screws around to be able to place all the equipment.. added some mdf and bolted the equipment to it.. had some grounding issues since the rack is metal and bolted to the metal of the car..you can get noise.. now..here's where i'm looking for help.. i want to get rid of the bottom row.. i want the rack to be shorter..i feel its taking up too much space but i want to feel safe about my amps being hung..any advice?

appreciate all the input..im sure its simple..just havent figured it out
