Change Navi Slash Screen - USB?
I know that there are several posts about changing the splash screen however I just purchasted a 2012 TSX w/tech package and it was an Acura "Courtesy" (loaner) car and therefore has a splash screen of the dealership which I *really* would like to change.
I thought I saw a way to do this by using the USB port but I cant seem to find the instructions for it. Does anyone know if this is possible?
Also, all of the posts I see appear to be for 1st Gen Acuras, is it the same for the 2nd Gen? I thought the Nav DVD would come with the car which doesnt seem to be the case, which is a completely different issue.

If you want to change it back to the default imgage, you won't need a USB. If you want to put a custom image there then you'll need a usb. The navi screen's resolution 800x480. I'd crop the custom image(If you decide to use one) to that aspect ratio so it'll fill up the screen.
To change the wallpaper, go to your settings menu and it should say change wallpaper near the end of the list. Go there, and select a an image from the one's that are already in the system.
To import a custom photo, make sure that the image is in the root folder of the usb. Plug it in and in the same setting menu, there should be something along the line of import photo from usb. From there, select the image and it should have a check in the box. Then confirm the import and it should import it. Now go back to the cahnge wallpaper menu and select the image.
