whats up guys when im playing music in my car and i turn it up it gets distorted and staticeyyy im wondering if its my radio...m hoping its the speakers cause there stock and cant handle it cause im doing the system in there soon....has anyone had this problem

your oem radio is the best thing u can ever look for, if u are planing on doing you music systen... im running a music system on my CU2 with the OEM radio. each door at the moment holds 4 beyma 6'5 speakers with a LOGIC AMP giving it 1600wat if im not mistaking... If the music of you car sounds distorted it could mean 2 things... You blast your music on a Daily and speakers are worn out.. Or/And your OEM amp is giving up on you...

 

i suggest you upgrade at least change the speakers. The amp that the car comes with its type shitty but with the right speakers you really don't need a what soo called "WOW" AMP

Yea I am planning to change the speakers and amp when I get a little more money, currently running one 12inch jl w3v3-4 with an xd600/1 , got a second w3v3-4 im going to throw in when I can get get a custom box built. Going to grab a clean sweep and jl xd400/4 with 6 new 6.5 jl speakers.

 

araaadi, trash the JL clean sweep as they are junk. Look at the Audiocontrol version of the clean sweep. Much much better. You will have a good sounding setup. I just wish JL would come up with a stealth box for the TSX. That 8" sub is nothing but junk.
