bluetooth/ handfree link not working
bluetooth/ handfree link not working
My bluetooth and handsfree links have suddenly stopped working on my 2009 tsx. When I press the AUX button the bluetooth option does not come up also when I press the handfree link button the steering wheel, nothing pops up as well. Is there a way to turn off the speaker system and turn it back on? Also does anyone have a tutorial or know where the bluetooth/handsfree link module is located?
The stock system is glitchy in my experience anyway. I also have a 2009.
When this happens I have to turn the ignition off, I wait for a minute, turn the car to the on position, wait for the CEL to turn off, then start the car. This is a habit for me and I make sure that I can press the call button and see hands free link pop up, because if it doesn't pop up then bluetooth isn't going to work.
I have noticed I get better performance from the bluetooth system if I leave bluetooth turned off in my phone, then only turn it on once the engine is running and the stereo has had several seconds to boot. Then I enable blue tooth and connect. This also resolved any skipping/connection/disconnect issues while streaming music.

message me if you guys a better explanation of where it is located. I replace the hands free link and it started to work again. buy the part from eBay not the dealer. cost a lot of money.
