Bluetooth Echo

I get an echo coming from my bluetooth...is it because of the location of the phone in the car when using the bluetooth? i have heard it with several different phones so im assuming it isnt because of the phone

anyone know of any fixes for this?

Does the other party get the echo or you?

I've had people say that they get a little echo or static on the line. I've noticced that when I put the phone in the center console to charge it that it helps to keep the echo and 'cell phone buzz' to a minimum. (You know the buzz you get on the radio or a cordless phone when your cell is next to it.)

they don't get the echo, only me. maybe i should try doing that then..maybe the center console keeps the phone mic from picking up sounds or something idk
