Aftermarket In Dash Navi

I am thinking about trading in my 2005 TL and finding a used I4 TSX, base and adding an aftermarket navigation. It all about MPG.

Does anyone know a good unit that fits these cars? Best buy website says pioneer avic, etc all fit. I am not sure if it actually does and will tie in any of the stock video.

I was thinking about going the same route since I have the SE and having a clutch was a requirement. Crutchfield gave me this answer as none of their stuff would "fit"

Hello Jeffrey,

Unfortunately due to your vehicles wiring system radio replacement is not recommended. Most likely there are some critical components wired into your vehicles stereo.

If you have further questions please let us know or give me a call at the number below.

Regards,

Abe

But in another thread, there was a youtube video of someone having it done. So I suppose it is possible. He/she has a few videos.

it'll fit, you'd just have to get a wiring harness and that aftermarket housing...or some other members have made custom housings.
