I am turning in an 09 TSX and getting a 12 soon and wanted to know if there were any upgrades on the ipod interface since 09. For example on the 09 if I want to hear a song by an artist with the letter Z, I would have the spend like 5 minutes turning the dial to get there......did they improve this at all to make you be able to search by letter or anything?

 

yep. now when you plug in your ipod, it sets up a voice recognition thing so u can search by voice if you want. and when you scroll through the artist name or album, it's much faster...that loading time from the 09 is gone.

also, tech>base hahaha. i have a 2010 base, i gave up on searching through my ipod. i actually bluetooth stream from my iphone, and plug it in as a car charger instead of USB connection. voice control on iphone works pretty well to select an album or playlist or artist. even to make a call
