so 50 bucks, and you can remotely roll up the windows just like you can use your remote to roll them down. cool little feature, though not that big of a deal for me. the fact that i can stick my key in the drivers door and roll up all the windows without getting in is enough for me.

i dont believe anyone has this installed in a 2nd gen, but it should be very similar to the 1st gen

Join the club. I've got the same issue with my '12. Have no idea how to install it. I'm trying to get the guy who put my alarm/remote start to install it, but he's being flaky. I know the KP can be done because my alarm guy got the Viper remote to roll down/up the windows. If I ever figure it out, ill let you know

Yep. This is an easy place to save $50.

I don't think you'll want to roll down your windows if your not within eyesight of your car for security purposes and if you are within eyesight, then ask yourself if the $50 saves you anything over walking over to your car and using the key to roll down your windows.

This module disables pinch protection, so you won't want to use this to roll up windows unless you are close enough to the car to see if anything is in the way - then you might as well roll them up with the key.

This comes back to my "think carefully about mods before you take the plunge" mantra. Does this (or any other) mod give you the expected "bang for the buck" or will it be a mod that'll be used once or twice and you just run the risk of an additional electrical failure based on spliced wiring?

Different strokes for different folks. I had this installed on both my 2006 TSX and my 2008 TL-S and it was fantastic to not have to try and close everything up before shutting down the car. I could have everything open on those nice days in the spring and fall when I drive and then when I got to my destination, I could lock up the car and watch my windows and moon roof seal themselves up while I walked away. Of course, when I bought it back then, the module was only $35 and not $50. Still, it was a nice convenience to have.

Of course and that is where you weigh the advantages against the disadvantages and determine if it is worth it.

In this case - because you can roll up the windows with your key after the engine is off - I would consider the advantages minimal and probably not outweighing the risks of electrical issues and the $50 cost - but then again I hardly ever roll the windows down so YMMV
