09 tsx navi conversion?
Has anyone in the TSX community considered or has looked into doing the navi conversion. My girl just bought 09 TSX without the TECH package. I was looking at the interior and it looks like it will be a PITA to do the conversion, I'm not even sure if the parts are interchangeable. If anyone has information on this please chime in

I'm pretty sure the parts are interchangeable, but yes, the costs associated with the swap (particularly the labor) would be atrocious.
Someone may chime in here, but to date, I have not heard of or seen anyone that's done it.

I know you prob know from doing it on your 3g that you'll need the navi ecu, hip unit and prob a different fuse and or relay box. Not to mention a new main harness. Thats before making it fit right. Not worth the time and money just trade it and fork up the extra 20 or 50 a month for the tech package. The only fully functional factory navi swap I've seen has been an rdx navi put into a 91 nsx and this guy was insane and amazing with wiring and hes still having trouble with the hip unit, I'm thinking he's been working on it for about 2 years..

Ive done the conversion for my previous 3G and it wasnt that difficult. I did some research on the parts for the 2G TSX and realized that I would also have to change the dash board, inwhich makes it extremely harder than my 3G nav conversion. Parts and custom harness, will probably average out to same as I spent on my 3G conversion, but the dash will bring it up another $500, which is not worth it, therefore I agree with you BobZahn.
