09 Acura TSX with Aftermarket Navigation?
Hi guys!
Im new to this thread, so I do apologize if this questions has been asked several times (which Im sure It has). I just couldn't find any sufficient answers so i decided to start a new thread!
Im looking to buy a 09 Acura TSX without Navigation, and will probably install an aftermarket one. What are some good aftermarket navigation units that fit into the dash? Will the dealer install one for me, if so, how much am I looking for?
Thanks!
P.S Also looking for an underspoiler for 09 TSX. Any good cheap sites?

I would suggest buying this unit (click) for your tsx, im planning on buying one myself. Also go to tobwac's build thread and start on page 10, he installed it in his tsx u can go to him with any questions. This unit is plug-&-play.

Everywhere I've seen this unit offered from has not been willing to assure that the ac controls will display on the TSX as it does with the euro accord. From what I've researched, no one has come forward with a solution aside from modding their dash with the old display relocated where the in dash wallet is. If anyone has discovered a solution other than that for the ac controls, they're keeping very quiet.

i have been going on for the better part of a year without the climate control display. it's honestly not as big a deal as you might think. if it's too cold, i'll raise it up. if it's too hot i'll flick it down. it was something that i kind of thought i would miss at the beginning, but have gotten used to being without.

Of course you need the wiring - and the antenna - and the amplifier - and the speaker wiring - and...
That's assuming the 2010 will work in a 2012 since they made quite a few changes in 2011.

Everyday I'm rofling
OEM nav swap will cost thousands of dollars and an extreme overhaul of wiring/dash components. It is not worth it.

I'm kinda debating between the P81 and this Chinese unit myself.
The Chinese unit looks more plug and play, with no modification required to trim down the depth of the unit, to retrofit the screen etc.
How well does this unit function (other than most probably losing the temp. display) though?
Do the steering wheel buttons work (for audio, as well as BT)?
Do the center console buttons still work? (FM, AM, AUX, FWD, REW etc ... knowing the touch screen is hard to reach I'll have to make sure the buttons still work)
And the Navigation works and accurately tracks where you are?
Seems like there's little discussion about this unit just wondering how well it works.
If I have to relocate the TEMP display screen to another area, so be it ... but at least I wanna know this unit works well.

I had two Chinese units and they each worked fine with the stock buttons. No hvac controls and the screens didn't seem to flow well imho. For what they charge, they should be better units. Their return policy is also not that awesome and one of the units I got had previously been opened. Note: I did not purchase from aliexpress or whatever website is mentioned above, but one of my units is this one.
I went for the p81 though. Way better, by more involved on the install (and less expensive)
